Catch-A-Dream Foundation

When the Make-A-Wish Foundation established policy not allowing hunting, or firearm-related activities, there was a gap of unfulfilled dream trips. 

In 2000, the Catch-A-Dream Foundation was created to fill that gap and begin providing dream hunting and fishing trips to children, ages 6 – 18, who are battling life-threatening and terminal medical conditions. The hunting or fishing experience is critical to their mission, as they use hunting and fishing as an opportune tool to show children and their families that there is Hope, with a capital H; HOPE that is found through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

In 2004, Little Flat Creek Ranch and the Catch-A-Dream Foundation teamed up and began hosting multiple Whitetail Deer hunts every year. 

As a ranch, we are beyond blessed to have this partnership and are honored to know that nearly one-third of all Catch-A-Dream experiences, have taken place here at Little Flat Creek. 

To date, over 243 Catch-A-Dream Hunting and Fishing Trips have been consummated at Little Flat Creek. 

When Catch-A-Dream decides to fulfill a child’s dream experience at Little Flat Creek Ranch, they implement and fund overall trip planning, including all travel related logistics, clothing, special equipment, and any other non-Ranch related expenses. The LFCR Dream Foundation provides and funds all onsite lodging, meals, hunting, fishing, game processing, and subsequent taxidermy. All outfitters working with Catch-A-Dream donate the hunting and fishing experiences, but few are able to provide such a complete package, and even fewer donate the game processing and taxidermy. This makes Little Flat Creek Ranch unique in the Catch-A-Dream stable of outfitter partners. We are able to do this thanks to our amazing Partners and Sponsors, who are beyond generous.
